Detox Concierge brings private, in-home alcohol and drug detox to your California home, hotel or rental. We arrange your medical consultation, prescribed medication and 24-hour nursing care. Your nurse stays with you, including overnight, so you have someone there to care for you while you rest.

From the first conversation, we help you work out what comes next. We guide you through intake, arrange the physician consultation and have your nurse collect the prescribed medication before coming to you.
Once care begins, you can rest, ask for help and tell us how you’re feeling. Your nurse attends to medication and symptoms, and helps with everyday needs that may feel difficult during withdrawal.
Your personal choices still matter. Keep your phone and computer. Have someone close to you involved if you wish, or keep the experience private. We want to hear your preferences as well as your medical history.
Your consultation with Dr. Jonathan Reitman takes place by phone. He reviews your substance use, medications, allergies and withdrawal history, and you have a chance to discuss your concerns. He prescribes medication and directs treatment remotely throughout detox. The physician assesses whether home care fits your medical needs. Some situations require hospital care.
Your nurse stays onsite for the agreed period, including overnight. Along with giving and recording medication, the nurse checks how you’re doing and keeps the physician informed. If you feel unsteady getting up, need help with the bathroom or struggle with personal care, your nurse can help.
We explain the price before you commit. The quote includes your agreed medical consultation, prescribed medication, continuous nursing and travel, with no added travel charge. Detox Concierge is private pay; we don’t accept or bill insurance. We can provide documentation for you to submit, but reimbursement is not guaranteed.
Medical detox treats withdrawal as your body adjusts to less alcohol or a drug. It includes prescribed medication, nursing observation and physician direction. It is the withdrawal phase of care, not a cure for addiction or a guarantee against returning to use.
Symptoms and treatment vary by substance. The physician reviews your history and directs medication; your nurse follows your response and keeps the physician informed.
Symptoms vary with the substance and your history. Alcohol withdrawal can cause shaking, sweating, anxiety, nausea, headache and trouble sleeping. Opioid withdrawal can also bring body aches, a runny nose, vomiting, diarrhea and strong cravings. Some symptoms need urgent medical care.
Call 911 for a seizure, severe confusion, hallucinations, chest pain, difficulty breathing or an unresponsive person. Do not wait for a detox appointment.
We provide alcohol, opioid, fentanyl, kratom and Ambien detox. We may address benzodiazepines or stimulants alongside alcohol detox; we do not offer standalone benzodiazepine or stimulant detox.

If you’re concerned about what will happen when you stop drinking, tell us about earlier withdrawal and how you feel now. Alcohol withdrawal can cause shaking, sweating, nausea and serious complications. We provide prescribed medication and continuous nursing, with the physician directing care.
Body aches, vomiting, diarrhea and sleeplessness can make stopping opioids difficult. We bring medical withdrawal care to you, with prescribed medication and a nurse who stays onsite. We treat withdrawal from opioid pain medication, heroin and fentanyl.
Tell us if you take benzodiazepines as well as alcohol, including which medications and how you use them. We may provide benzodiazepine detox alongside alcohol detox. We do not offer it as a standalone service.
Cocaine and alcohol use belong in the same conversation about your care. Tell us about both when you call. We may address cocaine use alongside alcohol detox; we do not provide standalone cocaine detox.
Before your nurse leaves, you’ll go over the instructions for your care after detox. If you want help finding further treatment or support, ask our team about referrals or introductions. We can also discuss extending your nursing care. You decide which options to pursue.
